The start of season 4 of Normaltown First Friday is set for Friday, May 1st. The evening will kick off at around 6:30 with the return of my good friends Jenny and Tom who played a short but memorable acoustic set two years ago. They will be back with a longer set so satisfy everyone’s desire for MORE! Following that will be local band Tommy Hedgehog - who is an Athens alt-rock band with influences from classic rock and funk. Since their formation in the summer of 2025, the Hedgehogs continue to gain traction in the Athens music scene. Tommy Hedgehog features Luke Sligh (of Holman Ave), Vivian Torch, John Ward, Josh Rusnak and Randy Montayre. Go to their Instagram HERE to check them out.
