We will be doing another REMOTE First Friday, this time we will be trying to beat the heat by setting up at Peter Norris’ house at the corner of Sunset and Gloria. This yard has two things - a stage and shade! My hope is the cops will not be called out like our last remote event. I’m excited to host our first all acoustic First Friday. The evening will feature Shaw Coggin. Shaw is a Georgia based singer-songwriter whose rise from open mics to packed local stages has been fueled by genuine honesty and heart. His writing draws from folk, 90s rock, and singer-songwriter traditions, with his artistic influences ranging from Bob Dylan and Tom Petty to Vampire Weekend.

With the recent release of his debut album, Front Page News, Shaw continues to establish himself as a thoughtful, emerging voice with stories worth hearing. You can find Shaw’s music here:
